HRM 113 / 413– Organizational and Employee Development

Organizational and Employee Development (OED) addresses the process of enhancing the effectiveness of an organization and the well-being of its members through planned interventions and systematic and organized activities to provide members with the skills to meet current and future job demands, as well as other aspects of leadership and skills development.

This is accomplished through developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and/or activities that address employee training and development, change and performance management, and the unique needs of particular employee groups.

In this course you will have the opportunity to analyze organizational and employee developmental issues to ensure that the organization maintains appropriate workforce levels – considering timing and talent, balanced with the organizations’ short-term and long-term operating and strategic plans.
