This course will develop the student’s understanding and appreciation of the role of strategic human resources management in an organization’s success. Students will learn how to design and implement business and HR strategic plan and teaches how to align the plan to influence organizational effectiveness and impact.

Elissa O’Brien

Elissa O’Brien is a SHRM Senior Certified HR Professional (SHRM-SCP). She is also currently serving as Vice President of Membership, Affiliates, and Customer Experience for WorldatWork. She brings 25 years of HR, Association Management, and Executive Coaching experience. Ms. O’Brien holds two Masters’ Degrees, one in Business Administration and the other in Managerial Technology from Johnson and Wales University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Salve Regina University.
